Hello everyone, I am pleased to announce that ASME at UCF will be hosting an introduction to CAD workshop Sunday, July 30th 2023 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. This workshop will be online through a video call (either zoom or discord, a link to this call will be provided at a later date). In this workshop you will learn the basics of CAD design, so no prior cad experience is needed. Similarly, due to the online nature of this workshop, no sign ups are required; you may tune in without advance notice. However, you must create an Onshape account prior to the start of this workshop (UCF students can make a free account by signing up with their new UCF emails). The part being designed will be a simple phone stand, which you may opt to print out using either your own 3D printer or our own in-house 3D printing service. You may comment on this post or send a message in our discord server if you have any questions. Please note that you must be a dues paying member to participate. We hope to see you there!
