Solidworks
A workshop for beginners! Want to become a CAD Master? This is the place to start. 

  • Gain experience with the modeling environment.
  • Craft unique objects and designs.
  • Very important for engineering employers to see on a resume. 
  • UCF provides SolidWorks free through my.cecs.ucf.edu.

Interested in designing 3D printed parts? Knowing what software to use to design your parts is essential to make your parts come to life with your own 3D printer!

Interested in getting into design and CAD? Follow our Fusion 360 workshop to see all the cool features of the software!

Lasercutting Workshop
For this workshop we will be…

  • Teaching you all about the benefits and drawbacks of laser cutting
  • When you should and should not use it
  • The unique thought process behind designing parts meant to be laser cut
  • Designing a small sliding box in SolidWorks
  • Handing out bags with the finished parts (to those who want them) for you to build on your own time!
